Route 66 of America
Our Story

Hey hey, we are Route 66 of America.

We are the umbrella over all...

…of the other Route 66 groups on this site!

If you would like to be part of these groups, let us know.

Hey hey… my name is Isa and my dad made this website for me. If you like the idea, buy something in the shop or show support by making a donation. Support donations will be converted to store credit for your use at a later date of your choosing.

There is only one Route 66 of America.

The 8-state roadway that allowed for millions to freely migrate back and forth from Illinois to California with Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona in between.

Only 23 years after Horatio Nelson Jackson had been first to cross the country in a Winton car, passing through Chicago on the way, Route 66 began construction in Chicago in 1926 and by 1938 (12 years later) was completed as being fully paved.

In 2026, the establishment of Route 66 will be celebrating 100 years while the completion of Route 66 will be celebrated in 2038.

That’s a 12-year long party!

Guess what… people are already starting to celebrate now… and it’s only 2023.

We decided to hit the road and begin the adventurous concept of traveling up and down Route 66 for the next 15 years.

To help make that happen, we created a few groups and networks to get lots of people involved.

Here is what we created, so far:

Route 66 Artists - helping artists sell their artwork

Route 66 Chess - network of chess tournaments

Route 66 Air - a Zenith CH 750 Super Duty airplane

Route 66 Wheels - cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles, bicycles, etc.

Route 66 Races - bed races, turtle races, RC races, etc.

Route 66 Family - food and friendships

Whoot 66 the Owl - always on the lookout for the best of everything

Non-AIMO Art - non-AI modified organic art certification

We are also looking to help at least eight (8) families who happen to have a child with special needs with a way to obtain financial support and have a reason to get outdoors and make friends with others in the same situation.

Therefore, these groups are called as follows:

Route 66 of Illinois - franchise for all groups in Illinois territory

Route 66 of Missouri - franchise for all groups in Missouri territory

Route 66 of Kansas - franchise for all groups in Kansas territory

Route 66 of Oklahoma - franchise for all groups in Oklahoma territory

Route 66 of Texas - franchise for all groups in Texas territory

Route 66 of New Mexico - franchise for all groups in New Mexico territory

Route 66 of Arizona - franchise for all groups in Arizona territory

Route 66 of California - franchise for all groups in California territory

Thank you, again for all of your support.
